High Voltage Discharge Exhibits Severe Effect on ZigBee-based Device in Solar Insecticidal Lamps Internet of Things

This demonstration presents high voltage discharge exhibits severe effect on ZigBee-based device in Solar Insecticidal Lamps Internet of Things. In the video, Scene One is about the interference of discharge on TV, and Scene Two is about the interference of discharge on ZigBee-based device.s

Two important insights can be shared to the research communities of Internet of Things (IoTs), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), reliability and security:

1) Without a special design in hardware configuration for protection, WSNs node should not be deployed nearby devices that can release high-voltage pulse discharge, e. g., SIL;

2) The above type of devices can be used as a malicious method to attack WSNs, leading to abnormal working state.
