The 1st International Conference on Sustainable and Intelligent Phytoprotection (ICSIP 2025) will be held in Nanjing, China, on November 15-16, 2025!

ICSIP 2025 is dedicated to scientific achievements in the field of sustainable and intelligent phytoprotection. Scientific research and practice on traditional phytoprotection and development are mainly conducted from the perspectives of chemistry, biology, ecology, and other biological sciences. With the rapid development of information and communication technology, emerging technologies such as Satellite Remote Sensing, Radar Detection, UAV Monitoring, Aerial Image Processing, Internet of Things, Big Data, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence have achieved many excellent results. Therefore, exploring new research directions and practices in phytoprotection based on these emerging technologies has led to the interdisciplinary field of “Intelligent Phytoprotection”, which defines the conference theme: Sustainable and Intelligent Phytoprotection—referring to green, smart plant protection supported by evolving technologies.

ICSIP 2025 offers an international platform for academics, researchers, professionals, and industry leaders to share knowledge, present cutting-edge research, exchange ideas, and discuss future trends and challenges in the field. By bridging computer science and traditional phytoprotection, the conference promotes interdisciplinary collaboration. Through innovative research and solutions, it advances “Sustainable and Intelligent Phytoprotection”, enabling more efficient phytoprotection and development.

Papers submitted to ICSIP2025 must be written in English and provide detailed descriptions of original work. These papers will be directly submitted to the Research Topic: “Highlights of the 1st International Conference on Sustainable and Intelligent Phytoprotection (ICSIP 2025)” within the “Sustainable and Intelligent Phytoprotection” section of the Frontiers in Plant Science journal, and will undergo peer review. All accepted original papers require at least one author to register for the conference and present their paper during the event. Additionally, the conference warmly welcomes authors to present special session reports on articles that have been published in the “Sustainable and Intelligent Phytoprotection” section of Frontiers in Plant Science.
